The following terms and conditions show your and our commitment as part of your booking. These terms and conditions govern bookings made with us. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any booking.

Late Bookings
You may book your holiday at any time, right up to the date of departure. No extra charges are made for late bookings.

Deposits & Payments
For bookings made 8 weeks or more prior to the date of departure, a deposit of 30% is due at the time of booking. The balance of the holiday cost is due 42 days prior to departure. Any booking made within 42 days of departure will be due for immediate payment in full.

For 2020 bookings made after 1st June new special terms: Balance payment 30 days before travelling.

Special offer of 100% holiday payment refund ONLY in case if the guest flights are cancelled due to COVID19 pandemic outbreak.

We reserve the right to alter prices for new bookings at any time but we do guarantee that there will be no surcharges once Youphoria Villas has confirmed a reservation. Only Government action may affect this guarantee.

Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges are calculated on the following basis.

We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances

Can be made, but may incur administration charges depending on the nature of the alteration. A major alteration may be treated as a cancellation.

Transfer of Booking
If you are unavoidably prevented from proceeding with your holiday, you may after giving at least 21 days notice, transfer the booking to another person/s. There will be a charge for administration costs

Travel Delay
We are unable to accept responsibility for expenses incurred due to travel delays (please refer to your travel insurance to see if you have sufficient cover for such delays).

We strongly recommend for your own protection that you and all members of your party take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering things like valuables theft, flight cancellations and natural disasters.

If you have a complaint during your stay, you must advise us immediately so that we can try and resolve any problems on the spot. If you still remain dissatisfied please write to us within 28 days of your return.

Important Notice
We reserve the right to cancel this booking and to render null & void any documents and tickets issued if payment of monies owed is not received by the due date. Any such cancellation does not negate your liability to pay any cancellation charges incurred according to the above scale (see Cancellation Charges).

Smoking Policy
We request that you do not smoke inside the villas however, smoking is permitted in the outside areas.

Access to property for maintenance

We and our maintenance crew reserve the right to free access to property when necessary for maintenance reasons.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept you as a client or to continue dealing with you if, in our opinion, your behaviour is disruptive and is causing or is likely to cause damage to property. If we do this, we will not be responsible for any extra costs which you incur.

Damages to Property
You are responsible for any breakages, losses or damage to your accommodation during your stay and will be asked to pay for any necessary repairs or replacements before leaving.

Please note that if you have pre-booked a hire car you will be liable for any excess on the CDW and for any damage to the underneath of the vehicle or to the tires or windscreen, as these are not covered under the terms of your insurance. We do not accept any liability in such instances and you will have to pay for any such damage locally.

Security Breakage Guarantee

On arrival you will be given a registration form to complete as a legal requirement for hotel stays. There we ask you to fill in the details of a valid Credit card for breakage guarantee purposes. (300  for sea view and 1000  for beach front) will be required either in cash or credit card upon arrival which will be returned to you on departure.

Passports and Visas
A valid and full passport is essential for all travellers to Crete and must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the return travel date. If you need to apply for, or renew a passport, it is best to do so as early as possible before your departure date. Visas are not required for passport holders within the EU. Holders of non-EU passports should contact the Greek consulate or embassy for up to date passport and visa information. The name on your flight ticket and passport must correspond. If not, aircraft boarding may be denied and may also result in insurance cover becoming valid. Please note it is your responsibility to have a valid passport and visa for your holiday.

At the present time, no compulsory vaccinations are required for Greece. However, we recommend that you check with your doctor as to what precautions are advisable or necessary at least 2 months before departure. We strongly advise you to obtain adequate travel and medical insurance to cover the entire period of your stay.

Arrival and departure times – Number of people staying
Your villa is reserved for you from 2pm on the date of your arrival and should be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday (unless prior arrangements have been made with management). Under no circumstances can occupancy numbers, as shown on your confirmation sheet, be exceeded.

EU Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations
Youphoria villas complies fully with all the EU standards for health, safety and hygiene and it is licensed from the Greek authority GNTO (Greek National Tourism Organisation).

We are not liable for loss or damage to guests, cancellations, delays, caused by acts of God, natural disasters, political reasons, actions on airports, theft from villa break in, acts of governments, wars, terrorist activity, fire or any other reason beyond our control.

Youphoria Villas is not responsible for any physical injuries to guests during their stay with us. Our Properties are not official tourist structures such as hotels but private homes and being as such they do not have the internationally recognized safety standards that hotels adopt.

Heated pool
The swimming pool of some Villas have been fitted with a Pool Heat Pump making the pool to about 24°C depending on weather conditions. The heated pool is on request at least 2 prior to arrival and has a minimum use of 7 days. The cost is 350 euro for a week for the sea views villa pools and 700 euro for the beach front.

Please note that pool heating is not turned on in July and August. Additionally, should the pool temperature exceed 24° C the pool heating will be turned off. Some Pools have covers and guests are asked to use them to achieve maximum pool heating effect.

All heated pools temperature are subject to weather conditions.
